Lakshya family is basically a group of students working for free education and social service. We have a vision of bringing a change and we are marching towards it with education as our weapon.  It was 2nd of April 2013. A small group of 6 students met on that day and decided to start a group called Lakshya family; to a provide platform for the youth to involve themselves into community service according to their convenience. The purpose was to improve the level and quality of education among the underprivileged children who live in the slums at Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Initially, we started with 6 volunteers and now, we have grown with more than 700+ volunteers, Now working in Muzaffarpur, Patna, Hajipur, Delhi, Mumbai. Looking back to the kind of efforts made by members of the lakshya family, with bigger aims Lakshya family has been registered as a society in 2017 with the primary aim of uplifting the children though education, campaign for environment and other social issues.
