About Lakshya Family
Lakshya Family is a registered voluntary organisation serving society by providing knowledge, education, and social service through dedicated efforts. Founded on 2nd April 2013 by just 6 students in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, it has grown into a movement with 700+ volunteers spanning multiple cities across India.
Our primary aim is to uplift children through education, campaign for a cleaner environment, and address pressing social issues — providing a platform for constructive work that improves the standard of living for underprivileged communities.

The Lakshya Journey
From 6 students with a dream to a 700+ strong movement — here's how Lakshya Family grew into one of Bihar's most impactful youth-led NGOs.
The Beginning — 6 Students, One Dream
A small group of 6 students in Muzaffarpur, Bihar decided to form "Lakshya Family" — a platform for youth to engage in community service at their convenience, starting with free education for slum children.
Growing Roots in Muzaffarpur
The team expanded its volunteer base, establishing regular free tutoring centres and organising awareness campaigns targeting children from underprivileged slum families in Muzaffarpur.
Expansion & Environmental Campaigns
Lakshya Family spread its wings to Patna and Hajipur, and began organising environment campaigns — tree plantation drives, cleanliness initiatives, and social awareness activities.
Officially Registered as a Society
With bigger aims and growing impact, Lakshya Family was officially registered as a society under the Indian Societies Registration Act 2017 — gaining formal recognition as an NGO.
National Expansion — Delhi & Mumbai
Operations expanded to Delhi and Mumbai, attracting volunteers from across India. The competitive exam preparation programme was launched to empower youth for government careers.

Today, Lakshya Family boasts 700+ volunteers, operates in 5 major cities, and continues its mission with free education, social service, and campaigns — marching forward with education as its weapon.
